Job summary

Jobat is recruiting on behalf of a leading international client based in Brussels. The role focuses on accurate processing of purchase invoices and expense claims, managing supplier payments, and monitoring outstanding balances.

You will support VAT and intra-community reporting, perform balance sheet reconciliations, assist month-end and year-end closing, and contribute to audit readiness and process improvements in a compliant finance environment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the accurate and timely processing of purchase invoices and expense claims.
• Manage supplier payments and actively monitor outstanding balances.
• Handle bank transactions and contribute to accurate cash reporting.
• Support VAT and intra-community reporting activities.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and help ensure the reliability of financial data.
• Play an active role in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Contribute to audit preparation and maintain compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Ensure high-quality, accurate, and consistent financial reporting.
• Support Corporate Income Tax (CIT) preparation and reporting.
• Take part in ad hoc projects and contribute to continuous process improvement.
