Job summary

Sia is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to design and deploy GenAI applications that teams actually use. You will work at the intersection of data science, ML/platform engineering, and client delivery, building autonomous agents, RAG pipelines, and conversational interfaces.

You will integrate solutions into client environments, comply with GDPR/EU AI Act, and help non-technical stakeholders adopt AI-driven workflows. Hybrid work from Brussels/Antwerp is offered.

Qualifications

• Grounding in computer science, AI, or related technical field.
• 2+ years of professional experience with LLM projects.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs, prompts, RAG, and evaluation.
• Strong Python, API integration, and cloud experience.
• Ability to communicate with non-technical teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement LLM-based systems: autonomous agents, RAG pipelines, workflow automation, and conversational interfaces.
• Integrate solutions into clients' environments (APIs, databases, tools) while complying with regulations.
• Train users, win sceptics, and iterate to maximize adoption and impact.
• Work with LangChain, LlamaIndex, and model stacks; evaluate and compare foundations models.
• Engage with business decision-makers and engineers to deliver high-value engagements.
