Job summary

Imec is seeking an enthusiastic GaN power technology specialist to contribute to device design, reliability, and modeling across GaN power research. The role spans epitaxy, processing, reliability, and PDK development, working with cross-functional teams to translate application needs into robust technology.

You will engage in advanced electrical characterization, TCAD simulations, and compact modeling while collaborating with industrial partners and customers to shape future GaN power

Qualifications

• Master or higher degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar.
• Solid background in semiconductor device physics.
• Strong knowledge in GaN HEMT device physics and operations.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to GaN power technology from concepts to manufacturable solutions.
• Engage in device design, reliability, and modeling activities.
• Perform advanced electrical characterization and TCAD simulations.
• Collaborate with epitaxy, processing, and device teams to translate requirements into technology development priorities.
