Keystone Solutions seeks a Functional SAP BRIM Consultant (CI/SOM) for a client-site project in Belgium. The role focuses on analyzing business needs, creating functional designs, and configuring SAP SOM and CI modules to support billing and revenue recognition.

You will ensure integration with S/4HANA RAR and FI-CA, prepare tests, write specs, and support incident resolution while contributing to solution evolution and knowledge transfer to the client’s teams.

Mission Overview

We are seeking a Functional SAP BRIM Consultant (CI/SOM) for a consultancy mission at a client site, representing Keystone Solutions. The consultant will be responsible for analyzing business needs, functional design, and configuration of the SAP Subscription Order Management (SOM) and SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI) modules. You will support the implementation and evolution of the SAP BRIM solution, ensuring compliance with business processes and billing and revenue recognition requirements.

Main Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs and translate them into functional solutions in SAP SOM and SAP Convergent Invoicing.
• Configure the SAP SOM and SAP CI modules according to functional requirements and SAP best practices.
• Set up billing objects and Billable Items necessary for processing billing flows.
• Define and configure information transmitted by Billable Items to SAP S/4HANA Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) to enable correct revenue recognition.
• Configure data necessary for integration with SAP FI-CA to ensure processing of customer accounts, receivables, and collections.
• Participate in the design of functional flows between SAP BRIM, sales systems, and financial applications.
• Write functional specifications and support developments when adaptations are necessary.
• Prepare and execute functional tests, integration tests, and support user acceptance testing phases.
• Provide expert-level functional support and participate in incident resolution.
• Contribute to solution evolutions and continuous improvement projects.
• Assist in enhancing the client's skills on the various implemented modules.

Technical Skills

• Excellent mastery of SAP Subscription Order Management (SOM).
• Excellent mastery of SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI).
• Good knowledge of SAP BRIM processes and the Order-to-Cash chain.
• Experience in configuring Billable Items and their characteristics.
• Mastery of data configuration for feeding SAP S/4HANA Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) for revenue recognition.
• Mastery of SAP FI-CA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable) for managing contract accounts and financial operations.
• Good understanding of interfaces between SAP BRIM, SAP S/4HANA, and upstream systems.
• Knowledge of integration mechanisms via middleware.
• Experience in writing functional specifications and supporting developments.

Profile Required
