EmpHire is seeking an experienced Freelance Full Stack Developer to join our Brussels team on a 6-month contract, ASAP start. You will work across both front-end and back-end development, delivering robust applications using .NET/C# and Angular while embracing modern DevOps practices.

The role requires 5+ years of professional software development experience, strong API and database knowledge, and the ability to work independently within a wider development team. Brussels on-site two days a week.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Full Stack Developer to join our team in Brussels on a 6-month contract, with an ASAP start.

You will work across both front-end and back-end development, contributing to the design, development and maintenance of high-quality applications. We are looking for someone comfortable working with .NET and Angular, with a good understanding of modern development practices and DevOps.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust full-stack applications.
  
• Develop back-end services and APIs using .NET / C#.
  
• Build responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using Angular.
  
• Work closely with other developers, architects, product owners and stakeholders.
  
• Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
  
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decision-making.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the application stack.
  
• Contribute to CI/CD, deployment and development automation.
  
• Follow Agile development methodologies and best practices.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  
• Strong experience with .NET / C#.
  
• Strong experience with Angular.
  
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, web services and modern software architecture.
  
• Experience with databases and SQL.
  
• Good understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD and source control.
  
• Comfortable working independently as well as within a wider development team.
  
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
  
• Experience with cloud-based application development and deployment.
  
• Knowledge of containerisation, automated testing and infrastructure/deployment automation.
