Overview

Context assignment Confidential is a dynamic organization where more than 160 people work within the Information Technology department. It is a bilingual environment with both French and Dutch speaking stakeholders. Within IT, we work agile (scrum methodology) and the ten development teams are multidisciplinary. We are currently looking for an experienced .NET Developer for expansion. Each team consists of ten people. The following functions and roles are represented in the team: Scrum Master, Business Analysts, Developers, Test Analysts, Ops Engineer, Product Owner.

Role

The experienced full‑stack .NET Developer (frontend and backend) is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the .NET application. This person works closely with other developers, testers, business analysts, the product owner and the scrum master to deliver functionalities in an iterative and incremental manner. The developer plays a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of new functionalities.

Responsibilities

• Design, development and maintenance of .NET applications using C# and .NET Core.
• Translate functional analyses into technical analyses and help the business analyst validate the technical specifications of applications.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues, manage second‑level bugs and provide technical support to colleagues.
• Continuous improvement of development processes and software quality: follow trends and developments in technologies and methodologies.
• Automation and continuous integration by setting up pipelines and unit tests to ensure a stable and functional development, test and production environment.
• Collaborate with the agile team in a SAFe environment: work closely with developers, testers, business analysts, product owner and scrum master to deliver software iteratively and incrementally.
• Contribute to technical documentation and share knowledge within the team; prepare and review technical documentation prepared by junior developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or equivalent through experience.
• At least 5 years of experience as a .NET developer.
• At least 3 years of experience working according to Agile/Scrum.
