You will work across the stack on open source projects, contribute to both backend and frontend, and own features from design to production. ... Then it's time to come working in a company with a great Open Source project where your work will count:

-> You'll start with 2 weeks of functional training following by 2 other weeks of technical training. The goal is to let you discover Odoo and our tech stack.

-> You'll join one of our ~20 technical teams. We have a team for every app in Odoo (eCommerce, Accounting, JS Framework, etc.) and other customer-oriented teams like Bugfix, Tech Support, etc.

-> You will improve the product and take ownership of your work as if you were an employee. You will work on real projects, collaborate with experienced developers, and contribute to code that goes into production.

-> Odoo has an open-core model, meaning that you will directly contribute to the community edition of Odoo, which is used by millions of people all over the world.

Development model: 80% open-source and 20% enterprise code
Frameworks: ORM, JavaScript framework (OWL), Templating Engine (QWeb), Spreadsheets, etc., all Odoo-made.

Our projects include:

-> Business apps: From Point of Sales, to Inventory and Accounting, we continuously improve and expand our product.

-> Client framework: OWL is an Odoo-made modern (React/Vue like) JavaScript framework, the fastest VDOM ever developed.

-> Server framework: A PostgreSQL-base ORM fine-tuned for server-side development.

-> Website builder: A no-code open source website builder alternative to Shopify, Wix, or Wordpress.

-> API connectors: Integrate with payment gateways, delivery providers, ChatGPT, and many other services.

-> Odoo.sh: A cloud platform enabling users to deploy, manage, and scale their Odoo instances.

-> Customer-oriented services: Bug fixing, technical support, and technical consultancy.

-> Security: From product security (code reviews, security patches) to system administration issues (pentesting, best practices, etc.).

-> Database management: Write SQL and Python scripts to efficiently migrate customer data from older versions of Odoo to the latest versions.

After 4 weeks of initial training (both functional and technical), we'll present you teams looking for new members and you'll join one that you like.
