Job summary

Qargo is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to join our Ghent team. You will design, build, and evolve the web-based frontend of our SaaS Transport Management Platform used by logistics professionals across Europe.

Focus areas include rich interfaces, performance, and scalable UX. You will collaborate with product managers, backend engineers, and designers to translate real-world logistics challenges into elegant frontend solutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in IT/CS/Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of frontend development experience.
• Strong understanding of modern frontend tooling and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Develop rich web-based frontend for the transport management platform.
• Collaborate with product managers, backend engineers and designers.
• Build responsive UIs, drag-and-drop planning screens, interactive maps and editors.
• Improve performance and ensure a smooth user experience at scale.
• Contribute to frontend architecture and UX decisions.
