Qargo is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer in Ghent to build and evolve our web-based Transport Management Platform. You will focus on delivering rich, responsive interfaces, drag-and-drop planning screens, interactive maps and document editors that power logistics operations across Europe.

You will collaborate with product managers, backend engineers and designers to design scalable frontend solutions, improve performance and UX, and contribute to the platform’s architecture.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in IT/CS/SE required.
• 2+ years of frontend development experience.
• Passion for solving complex technical challenges and scalable software.
• Growth mindset and willingness to learn and experiment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; able to work independently and in a team.
• User-first mentality with focus on real-world impact.
• Experience with React and modern frontend tooling; understanding of state management and component-based architecture.
• Familiar with GraphQL, realtime data, and collaborative UIs.

Responsabilités

• Frontend development of the web-based platform used by thousands of logistics professionals.
• Work with React and GraphQL (Apollo) and with Zustand, Ant Design, Linaria and related tools.
• Build drag-and-drop planning screens, interactive maps and custom editors.
• Optimize performance and implement best practices for a smooth user experience.
• Collaborate with product managers, backend engineers and designers to translate real-world challenges into frontend solutions.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, UX decisions and direction of the platform.
