DSV Puurs is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder Export Sea to coordinate and manage the entire export sea freight process for our key client. You will join our control tower department and help deliver excellence in logistics, ensuring smooth operations from booking to billing within a global network.

The role requires several years in sea freight forwarding, solid English skills, and hands-on use of a modern TMS system.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in Freight Forwarding (Sea freight).
• Good knowledge of English.

Responsabilités

• Provide exceptional daily service and communication with your key client regarding sea freight export shipments.
• Create and manage shipments in our state-of-the-art TMS system.
• Coordinate bookings with carriers and shipping companies according to established agreements.
• Liaise with the customs team to ensure timely preparation of customs documents.
• Foster strong relationships within the DSV network, collaborating on shipment announcements and quotations.
• Take ownership of billing accuracy and data quality, adhering to DSV Compliance standards.
• Demonstrate proficiency in applying DSV Compliance protocols, including security measures, embargo countries, carrier regulations, and commodity specifications.

As a Freight Forwarder Export Sea at our Puurs location, you'll play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing the entire transport process for our key client.
Join our dynamic control tower department and become an integral part of our mission to deliver excellence in logistics (Sea freight).

Tasks:

• Provide exceptional daily service and communication with your key client regarding sea freight export shipments;
• Utilize your expertise to create and manage shipments in our state-of-the-art TMS system;
• Coordinate bookings with various partners, including carriers and shipping companies, in accordance with established agreements;
• Liaise with the customs team to ensure timely preparation of customs documents;
• Foster strong relationships within the DSV network, collaborating on shipment announcements and quotations;
• Take ownership of billing accuracy and data quality, adhering to DSV Compliance standards;
