DSV Puurs is seeking a Control Tower Assistant for Seafreight to manage daily sea freight shipments and keep customers informed. You will use our TMS to create shipments, coordinate carrier bookings, and ensure accurate data and billing in line with compliance.

Qualifications

• A few years of experience within freight forwarding (seafreight).
• Good knowledge of English.
• Fluency in learning new computer programs.

Responsabilités

• Provide exceptional daily service and communication with the key client regarding sea freight export shipments.
• Create and manage shipments in our state-of-the-art TMS system.
• Coordinate bookings with carriers and shipping partners per established agreements.
• Liaise with the customs team to prepare customs documents timely.
• Foster strong relationships within the DSV network for announcements and quotations.
• Ensure billing accuracy and data quality in line with DSV Compliance standards.
• Apply DSV Compliance protocols, including security measures and embargo controls.

• Tasks: Provide exceptional daily service and communication with your key client regarding sea freight export shipments;
• Utilize your expertise to create and manage shipments in our state-of-the-art TMS system;
• Coordinate bookings with various partners, including carriers and shipping companies, in accordance with established agreements;
• Liaise with the customs team to ensure timely preparation of customs documents;
• Foster strong relationships within the DSV network, collaborating on shipment announcements and quotations;
• Take ownership of billing accuracy and data quality, adhering to DSV Compliance standards;
• Demonstrate proficiency in applying DSV Compliance protocols, including security measures, embargo countries, carrier regulations, and commodity specifications.

You bring

• You have already a few years of experience within Freight Forwarding (Seafreight)
• Good knowledge of English
• You are fluent in learning new computer programs
