Job summary

Koda Tech is seeking an experienced Freelance Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Engineer to support a large-scale transformation programme in Brussels. You will help design and deliver a modern cloud platform, establishing cloud foundations and secure, governed adoption across the organization.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with GCP, Terraform, and Python, plus the ability to operate in a complex enterprise environment.

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Engineer to join a large-scale transformation programme, supporting the design and delivery of a modern cloud platform within a complex enterprise environment. This role will play a key part in establishing cloud foundations, enabling secure, scalable, and governed cloud adoption across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement GCP cloud foundations and landing zones to support enterprise cloud transformation initiatives.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Define and implement cloud security, governance, networking, and identity management standards.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, and engineering teams to deliver a secure and scalable cloud platform.
• Support cloud migration and modernisation activities as part of a wider digital transformation programme.
• Drive best practices across cloud operations, automation, and platform engineering.

Experience

• Proven experience delivering solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) within enterprise environments.
• Strong experience designing and implementing cloud foundations, landing zones, and platform services.
• Deep understanding of IAM, cloud security, networking, and governance.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform.
• Scripting and automation experience using Python.
• Experience working within complex transformation, migration, or cloud adoption programmes.
