AED Group in Willebroek, Belgium is seeking an experienced freelance Communication Officer for a maternity leave replacement. The role is 3 to 5 days per week from November to March, focusing on shaping and delivering internal and external communications across digital, social, print, email and media channels.

You will own content calendars, coordinate campaigns with sales and HR, manage press and media relations, and translate strategy into impactful content.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar communications role.
• Bachelors degree in marketing or journalism or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a strong plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Hands-on, proactive team player capable of working independently.

Responsabilités

• Lead content strategy, content calendar and media plan.
• Write and edit high-quality copy for campaigns, website, social, email and presentations.
• Oversee email marketing campaigns, newsletters and automation flows.
• Own and manage social media strategy and channels.
• Lead brand and sales campaigns from concept to launch and reporting.
• Write and distribute press releases; maintain media relationships.
• Ensure content across platforms is up-to-date and aligned with goals.
• Monitor performance and provide insights to improve reach and conversion.
• Support HR and internal comms including employer branding.
