Job summary

Unilever Food Solutions in Brussels is seeking a Commercial Trade Assistant to support Trade Account Managers for the Foodservice channel and help drive the commercial success of Knorr and Hellmann’s. You connect analysis with action, manage promotions, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance in a dynamic, hybrid role.

The position offers development opportunities, strong interaction with wholesale partners, and potential relocation support for cross-border work

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree at HBO level in Marketing, Business Management, International Business, Commercial Economics or similar.
Around 2 years of experience in a commercial or sales support role or relevant internship.
Fluency in Dutch is a must; good French is preferred and English is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a project-driven environment.
Affinity with FMCG and Foodservice; solid skills in MS Teams, PowerPoint and Excel.
Self-starter, proactive, and strong communicator with multitasking ability.
Passion for great food and customer-centric mindset.

Responsibilities

Support Trade Account Managers and teams working with Foodservice wholesalers.
Independently managing promotion planning, online content alignment, and commercial administration.
Analyze sales performance, promotional results, forecasts and market data; translate insights into actions.
Maintain and update systems, reports, and commercial data.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance; strengthen customer relationships.
Contribute to projects, customer activation, and market execution; ensure high customer satisfaction.
