Equals Group is seeking a Risk Manager to lead the organisation’s risk management framework across the Group. You will ensure risks are identified, assessed, monitored and mitigated, strengthening risk culture and regulatory compliance.

Collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional teams is essential to embed strong controls. You will drive risk reporting, KRIs and continuous improvement of risk tools, processes and training, staying informed on industry trends and regulatory changes

Qualifications

• 5+ years in risk management, operational risk, or ERM in fintech or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of risk frameworks, controls testing, and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with risk reporting tools, dashboards, and data analysis.
• Experience with financial services and payments/e-money related risks is desirable.
• Relevant qualifications in risk, compliance, or financial services (IRM, ARM, or equivalent desirable).

Responsabilités

• Maintain and update risk registers in line with the organisation’s risk appetite.
• Support and monitor KRIs and controls; lead risk assessments and mitigation.
• Conduct regular reviews and testing to assess control effectiveness.
• Investigate risk events and ensure lessons learned are captured.
• Promote a strong risk culture; deliver training and guidance.
• Prepare risk reports and dashboards for senior leadership and governance forums.
