Job summary

WDP - Warehouses with brains in Meise, Belgium seeks a Financial & Business Controller to bridge Finance and operations, overseeing regional financial performance through reporting, analysis and business partnering across sites.

You will collaborate with Finance and operations teams, bringing analytical, data-driven insights and supporting digitalisation and AI initiatives. A master’s degree and several years in financial control are expected, with strong Excel and reporting-tool experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in finance or a closely related field.
• Several years of relevant experience in financial control, audit or another finance role.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to data processing.
• High proficiency in Excel; experience with reporting tools preferred.
• Fluent Dutch and English communication.
• Structured, initiative-taking mindset in a fast-growing, international environment.

Job description

As a Financial & Business Controller at WDP, you’ll be a key link between Finance and the business. You’ll oversee the financial performance of several WDP regions, combining financial control, reporting and analysis with a strong business partnering role. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across Finance and our operational departments.

HERE'S YOUR PROFILE

• You hold a master’s degree in a finance-related field, such as Applied Economics or Business Engineering.
• You have several years of relevant experience in financial control, audit or another finance role.
• You have strong analytical skills, take a structured approach to processing data and have a keen interest in digitalisation, automation and AI.
• You are highly proficient in Excel and preferably have experience with reporting tools.
• You communicate clearly in Dutch and English.
• You work in a structured way, take initiative and feel at home in a fast-growing, international environment.
