Job summary

WDP - Warehouses with brains is seeking a Finance Professional for Customer Accounting in Meise, Belgium. You will join the Accounting team to manage finances for Belgian companies within the WDP Group, handling invoicing, rent indexation and account analyses.

Your work includes lease administration, chargebacks, and final settlements, plus month-end and audit support. A strong accounting interest, Dutch and English communication, and a willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics-related field and strong interest in accounting.
• Some initial professional experience in finance or accounting is a plus.
• Strong interest in financial processes and accounting.
• Analytical mindset and accuracy.
• Initiative and solution focus.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
• Comfort with a modern digital working environment.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Customer accounting and invoicing: preparing and checking rent invoices and credit notes.
• Processing rent indexation and changes to lease agreements.

• Recharging costs and utilities to tenants.
• Processing tenants’ final account settlements.
• Property and lease administration: managing lease agreements and updating lease data.
• Handling administration for departing tenants and collaborating with Property Management, Legal and Business Development.

As a Finance Professional – Customer Accounting, you’ll be part of the Accounting team and help manage the finances of Belgian companies within the WDP Group.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Customer accounting and invoicing

• Preparing and checking rent invoices and credit notes.
• Processing rent indexation and changes to lease agreements.
• Analysing customer accounts and customer credits.
• Recharging costs and utilities to tenants.
• Processing tenants’ final account settlements.

2. Property and lease administration

• Managing lease agreements.
• Updating lease data.
• Handling the administration for departing tenants.
• Working with colleagues in Property Management, Legal and Business Development.

3. Closing controls and audit support

• Supporting month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing.
• Preparing audit files.
• Performing internal controls.
• Contributing to process improvements within Accounting.
• Supporting compliance and reporting processes.

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an economics-related field and have a strong interest in accounting.
