YUST Group in Antwerp is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee monthly reporting for OpCos, validate inputs, and support budgeting and board presentations. You will work closely with the CEO and external partners to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires a degree in Finance or Accounting, first experience as a controller, strong Excel skills, and fluency in Dutch and English; occasional travel to the Netherlands and Germany may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field or equivalent experience.
• First experience as a financial controller.
• Proficient in financial software; Exact Online a plus; advanced Excel skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; travel to the Netherlands/Germany possible.

Responsabilités

• Prepare monthly financial reports for OpCos and validate inputs.
• Review inputs and liaise between OpCos and YUST Group CEO.
• Assist in annual budgets for OpCos and YUST Group.
• Provide financial input for quarterly Board presentations.
• Support audits and annual reporting documentation.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare and manage monthly financial reports for operational companies (OpCos)
• Review and validate financial inputs and results from OpCos, acting as a liaison between OpCos and the YUST Group CEO
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets for both OpCos and YUST Group
• Provide financial input for quarterly Board of Directors presentations, with a focus on key financial metrics
• Support the preparation of financial statements and documentation for the annual audit
• Contribute to the financial sections of the annual report and the minutes of the General Assembly

Collaboration & Coordination

• Oversee invoice processing and accounting, coordinated through external service providers
• Coordinate with external accounting firms to ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping
• Provide OpCo financial data and insights for acquisition business plans

Process Improvement & Compliance

• Monitor and improve financial processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance
• Manage credit applications and oversee the credit portfolio for all (daughter) companies

Strategic Support

• Support the CEO and other senior stakeholders with ad hoc financial analyses
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to support decision-making at all levels

GOT THE SKILLS?

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field or have equivalent experience
• A first experience as a financial controller
• Proficient in financial software (experience in Exact Online is a plus) and advanced Excel skills
• Sociable, a team player and an excellent communicator in Dutch and English (French or German is a plus) with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
• Well-structured and detail-oriented but with a hands-on and no-nonsense mentality
• You are willing and have the ability to travel from time to time (Netherlands/Germany).
• Excellent analytical and organisational ability
• Experience in real estate accounting is considered an asset
• Always on the lookout for optimisation in workflows and processes
