Job summary

EEAS in Brussels, Belgium seeks a Team Leader for the Information Integrity & Countering Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference Division (GII.GLOBAL.STRAT.4). Based in the Data Knowledge and Analysis Team, you will coordinate cross‑agency efforts to transform insights into actionable responses against FIMI.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive OSINT experience, and a track record in countering information manipulation, with responsibilities spanning strategic planning,

Qualifications

Proven expertise in countering FIMI and data-driven analysis.
Excellent drafting, communication and analytical skills.
Strong knowledge of EU policies, instruments, and inter-institutional framework.
Experience leading counter-FIMI initiatives and engaging with the counter-FIMI community.
Background in communications, including academic research or journalism.

Responsibilities

Design and implement strategic and operational approaches to counter FIMI.
Coordinate EEAS FIMI Situational Awareness Hub activities.
Develop FIMI methodologies, taxonomies and data-sharing standards (STIX).
Drive interoperability and automation of analytical processes.
Prepare briefings, capacity-building activities, and manage budget and contracts.
