Job summary

The EEAS invites applications for an Open-Source Intelligence Analyst (Contract Agent FGIV) to join the INTCEN/SIAC team. The role involves collecting and analyzing open-source information, including social media, and drafting intelligence reports to support decision-makers.

Successful candidates will monitor political, economic, military, and humanitarian developments and provide open-source research input across assigned regions. A CAST-ready profile and high security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Three years of university studies or equivalent diploma.
• Excellent drafting and information structuring abilities.
• Strong ability to analyse and synthesize information for intelligence reports.

Responsibilities

• Collect, research and monitor open-source information including social media.
• Analyse open sources and draft intelligence reports for INTCEN/SIAC.
• Produce open-source information research supporting SIAC.
• Monitor political, economic, military and humanitarian situations in selected regions.
