Job summary

The European External Action Service is seeking an Information Systems Officer to help design and implement data-driven counter-FIMI capabilities. The role focuses on advanced data analysis, AI-assisted processes, and coordination with regional Stratcom teams across international offices.

The successful candidate will contribute to developing analytical resources, supporting rapid response, and managing collaborations with external partners and contractors.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (oral and written).
• University degree recognised by EU standards.
• Experience with data analysis and information environments.
• Knowledge of tools and methods to counter FIMI and disinformation.

Responsibilities

• Support design and implementation of data-driven solutions to counter FIMI threats.
• Lead AI-based tool development to assist team tasks.
• Oversee the Situational Awareness Hub toolkit for FIMI detection and analysis.
• Coordinate with regional Stratcom Task Forces and partners.
• Enhance data-driven analytical resources, visuals and responses.
• Manage external contractors and collaboration with partners.
