Leica Biosystems in Diegem, Belgium is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service and repair products at customer sites, enabling reliable diagnostics in life sciences. You will visit customers for installations, preventive maintenance, repairs, fault analysis and upgrades.

The Field service Engineer is responsible for conducting service, repair and/or installation of products or IT solutions at customer site.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Visiting customers for installations, preventive maintenance, repairs, fault analysis, and upgrades
• Contributing to the team goals of Customer Satisfaction, Return Call Rate, Preventive Maintenance Planning & Utilization
• Providing input to improve product reliability and feedback to the business units and field services
• Cooperate with the Technical Assistance Centre Support Team to ensure smooth and fast processes and information flow
• Working closely with our Sales teams by ensuring good communication for opportunities & escalations

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• Technically educated, preferably a Bachelor´s degree or vocational degree in the Mechanical or Electronic direction.
• Fluent in the English, Dutch and French language.
• You have proven to be an excellent communicator by interaction with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful support and optimal processes. You can communicate any issues or concerns to customers and act as a problem-solver.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

• Valid driving license B is required
• The ability to carry & move up to 25 kg safely
• Traveling ability for product training in different countries
