We’re partnering with an Antwerp-based semiconductor and chip manufacturing company to recruit an FPGA Design Engineer. You will join a highly technical R&D team delivering FPGA-based solutions across the development lifecycle, from architecture to verification.

You’ll work on RTL designs in VHDL/Verilog, perform simulations and timing analysis, and optimise for performance and reliability within a global, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience designing FPGA-based systems and architectures.
• RTL design using VHDL and/or Verilog.
• Familiarity with Xilinx toolchain and FPGA development environments.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop FPGA-based solutions for advanced semiconductor applications.
• Translate system requirements into efficient digital hardware architectures.
• Develop RTL designs using VHDL and/or Verilog.
• Perform simulation, verification and debugging of FPGA designs.
• Carry out synthesis, place & route and timing analysis.
• Analyse and optimise designs for performance, resource utilisation and reliability.
• Work with hardware and software engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to design documentation, testing and verification activities.

We’re working with an innovative semiconductor and chip manufacturing company based in Antwerp, developing advanced technologies for demanding global markets.

As an FPGA Design Engineer, you’ll join a highly technical R&D team responsible for the design, development and verification of FPGA-based solutions.

You’ll work across the FPGA development lifecycle, from architecture and RTL design through to simulation, synthesis, implementation and verification.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and develop FPGA-based solutions for advanced semiconductor applications
• Translate system requirements into efficient digital hardware architectures
• Develop RTL designs using VHDL and/or Verilog
• Perform simulation, verification and debugging of FPGA designs
• Carry out synthesis, place & route and timing analysis
• Analyse and optimise designs for performance, resource utilisation and reliability
• Work with hardware and software engineers throughout the development lifecycle
• Contribute to design documentation, testing and verification activities
• Support the integration of FPGA solutions into wider electronic systems
