Vivid Resourcing is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to join their electronics development team in Liège. You will lead design across high-speed interfaces, FPGA-based systems and power supply design, contributing from specification through to production.

The ideal candidate has a Master's/PhD in Electronics Engineering with 5+ years' board design experience, strong SI/PI skills, and fluent French with professional English. This role offers a permanent contract and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years' experience in electronic board design, with strong exposure to high-speed digital interfaces, FPGA, power supplies and EMC.
• Hands-on experience with SI/PI simulation tools.
• Analog design and SPICE simulation experience.
• Strong lab measurement and debugging skills.
• Experience with a PLM system is a plus.
• Mechanical/thermal design exposure is a plus.
• Fluent French required; professional English.

Responsabilités

• Lead hardware design across high-speed interfaces and FPGA-based systems.
• Develop power supply designs and ensure EMC compliance.
• Perform SI/PI simulations and analog circuit analysis.
• Create schematics and layout using Altium Designer or equivalent.
• Collaborate across design, test, and manufacturing to move from spec to production.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to lab measurements and debugging.

About the role:

A growing engineering company based in Liège, active in advanced sensing and data-transmission technology, is looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join their electronics development team.

The company designs high-performance embedded systems used in demanding industrial and scientific applications, built around cutting-edge high-speed interfaces.

You'll join a strong hardware engineering team and take part in all stages of hardware design - from specification through to production.

What you'll be working on

• High-speed digital interfaces: PCIe Gen4-6, (LP)DDR4/5, 100G Ethernet, high-speed serial links
• FPGA-based system design
• Power supply design and EMC compliance
• Signal integrity and power integrity simulation (Hyperlynx or equivalent)
• Analog circuit design and SPICE simulation
• Schematics and layout using Altium Designer or equivalent

Your profile

• Master's or PhD in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years' experience in electronic board design, with strong exposure to high-speed digital interfaces, FPGA, power supplies and EMC
