Asenium Consulting in Turnhout, Belgium, is seeking a Test Engineer with 5 years of experience for a three-month factoring reporting project. The role combines on-site and remote work in a hybrid model, with 50% on-site and 50% homeworking, starting as soon as possible.

You will validate complex internal and financial reports within a proprietary factoring IT ecosystem, design test scenarios, perform functional and data-driven testing, and document pass/fail results while coordinating with IT

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of IT testing in complex IT environments.
• Experience with database-driven reporting systems.
• Experience with requirements management.
• Experience with conceptual modelling techniques and methods.
• Good knowledge of workflow processes.
• Deep knowledge of factoring processes and products, including recourse and non-recourse factoring, assignment of receivables, and credit limits.
• English proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Independently design, develop, and execute comprehensive test scenarios for factoring reports.
• Perform functional and data-driven testing of factoring transactions, client data, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Create structured test plans and document execution steps and pass/fail results.
• Formally validate reports before implementation.
• Identify discrepancies between expected and actual report outputs.
• Provide clear feedback to IT and development teams.
• Assimilate complex business logic and evolving IT system architectures to maintain robust test coverage.
