Victaulic Europe B.V. is seeking a Sustainability Specialist to drive European sustainability and regulatory compliance initiatives.

You will work with Engineering, Sourcing, Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams to interpret legislation, support compliance programs, and develop forward-looking roadmaps for EU policy developments. You will collect and analyze sustainability data, maintain dashboards and heatmaps, and ensure audit readiness while continuously improving data management and digital

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in sustainability, compliance, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience with assurance of advisory in sustainability legislation is a plus.
• Ability to interpret European sustainability legislation and translate them into operational business actions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluent in English.
• Knowledge of any other language is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Turn signals into action—monitor and interpret European sustainability and environmental legislation and translate signals into clear, actionable insights relevant to Victaulic.
• Own the sustainability legislation—support sustainability and product compliance programs across Victaulic.
• Assist with compliance activities related to CBAM, CSRD, EUDR, and other regulatory requirements.
• Identify and liaise with relevant working groups pertaining to sustainability strategy and implementation (construction and potable water).
• Support the Manager, Regulatory & Sustainability, in developing forward-looking roadmaps of EU sustainability and materials policy developments informing and collaborating with new product development initiatives within EMEA.
• Coordinate across functions—collect, validate, and analyze sustainability and supplier data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure integrated responses and timely execution.
• Provide sustainability visibility—support reporting, dashboards, heatmaps, and documentation for stakeholders.
• Ensure traceability and audit readiness—maintain tracking, documentation and reporting to support compliance and inspection readiness.
• Build capacity and improve continuously—identify opportunities to improve compliance processes and data management, including digital tooling over time.
