Job summary

Cisco seeks a Senior Manager of EU Public Policy based in Brussels to drive core public policy priorities for the company across EU institutions. You will interact with government officials and agencies, shape policy solutions, and influence Cisco’s strategic direction with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Legal, and Communications.

You will lead advocacy on digital policy issues, manage key Brussels relationships, and work with trade associations.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years in public policy or government affairs in public or private sectors.
Deep understanding of EU tech policy and the ICT sector.
Advanced degree in law, political science, business, economics or similar.
Willingness to travel across the EU.

Responsibilities

Develop and advocate for EU public policies in connectivity, investment, competitiveness, and circular economy.
Lead engagements with EU officials and policy-makers; build senior relationships.
Manage involvement with trade associations in Brussels.
Collaborate with Global Public Policy team and regional colleagues.
Identify, analyze, and prioritize emerging policy issues; prepare position papers and briefings.
Represent Cisco in hearings, meetings, conferences, and media.
Advise on trends, implications for business, and internal strategy with executives and engineering/Legal teams.
