Job summary

Political Intelligence Brussels is seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead our EU Digital policy practice from Brussels. You will design strategy, oversee client campaigns, and drive growth while engaging with key EU stakeholders.

A strong leadership record and deep policy insight are essential to shape influential public affairs programs. You will collaborate with a talented team, mentor colleagues, and expand relationships with policymakers and industry players across Europe.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of proven EU public affairs experience.
• Strong understanding of the EU digital policy landscape.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Proven leadership of multi-stakeholder campaigns.
• Fluent in English; additional EU languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the vision and strategy for expanding PI’s EU Digital practice.
• Stay on top of policy developments, debates, legislation, and regulatory trends.
• Develop and implement Public Affairs strategies aligned with client and company objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with European Commission officials, MEPs, their staff, and industry representatives.
• Actively network by attending sector events and policymaking debates.
• Coordinate and lead advocacy campaigns influencing EU policy decisions for clients.
• Provide clients with insights into emerging trends, opportunities, and threats in the political landscape.
• Advise client leads on strategic positioning, action plans, and campaigns.
• Support team management and mentor colleagues in EU Digital policy and communications.
