Job summary

Political Intelligence Brussels seeks an experienced Public Affairs consultant with a passion for EU energy policy to join on a fixed-term contract (12 months, with potential extension and possible conversion to a permanent role).

You will be a trusted advisor to a global technology client, bridging electrical engineering concepts and policy advocacy to navigate EU energy regulatory frameworks affecting data centre operations across EMEA.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years' experience in energy regulation or policy analysis.
• Experience with regulatory consultations and stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of European energy markets and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong briefing and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory analysis of energy policy proposals across EMEA and impact on data centre operations.
• Develop briefing materials and position papers for regulators and clients.
• Support workshops and stakeholder engagement with TSOs, DSOs and authorities.
• Develop policy frameworks and standardised briefing templates.
