EMPN is seeking a Senior Economic Policy Analyst for Energy Policy & Infrastructure Finance in Brussels. You will shape debates on financing the energy transition, produce briefs, and coordinate across our European network.

You will interact with EU institutions, ministries, and think tanks, leveraging your policy expertise and strong writing skills to advance EMPN's objectives. Remote-friendly, due to cross-border collaboration.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of European energy policies and policy research.
• Experience with EU institutions, public administration, or think tanks.
• Ability to write clear policy briefs and reports.

Responsibilities

• Content production: write policy briefs on energy topics and engage in outreach with policymakers.
• Network coordination: align energy/climate research across our network including Berlin and Brussels.
• Support: assist the Managing Director with HQ development and outreach tasks.
