Job summary

Stark Recruitment is partnering with a leading international law firm in Brussels to strengthen its EU, Competition & Regulatory Law practice. The Associate will work on sophisticated competition matters with direct client interaction and ownership of complex matters.

Responsibilities include advising on antitrust, merger control, and regulatory issues, and representing clients before European and national authorities, with cross-border collaboration and a focus on growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3–9 years of experience in EU and competition law within a reputable business law firm.
• Fluency in Dutch, French and English is essential.
• Strong expertise in antitrust, merger control and/or competition litigation.

Responsibilities

• Advise Belgian and international clients on EU and competition law matters, including antitrust, merger control and regulatory issues.
• Represent clients before the Belgian Competition Authority, the European Commission, EU courts and national courts.
• Handle complex advisory, transactional and litigation matters.
• Manage files with increasing independence, working with partners.
• Collaborate with international colleagues on cross-border matters.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
