Freshfields Brussels is recruiting ambitious junior lawyers with up to 2 years' post-qualification experience to join its leading global antitrust practice. You will work on complex competition, regulatory and trade law mandates, often cross-border, and contribute to business development and knowledge management.

We will also consider candidates still training and close to qualification, aiming to start as an associate in our ACT team. Relocation to Brussels is a requirement for this role.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English with excellent written and oral communication.
• Top-class academic qualifications, LL.M. preferred.
• Ability to handle responsibility and a challenging workload.
• Team-oriented and solution-focused mindset.
• Willingness to relocate to Brussels for the role.

Responsabilités

• Analyze competition law and commercial issues to advise clients.
• Develop merger clearance strategies and draft/negotiate documents.
• Engage with competition authorities and courts, drafting submissions.
• Participate in business development and client events.
