Job summary

N-SIDE is seeking a Solution Analyst - Energy to join our Energy department in Louvain-la-Neuve. You will sit on the front lines of product discovery, engaging with system operators, organizing collaborative workshops, extracting deep pain points, and determining what must be built.

You will translate complex requirements for our engineers, identify repeatable patterns, and help validate the commercial viability of our solutions, while supporting ROI models for potential clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, IT, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience in technical consulting, business/solution analysis, systems engineering, or early-stage software discovery.
• 3+ years of relevant experience; energy/utilities sector experience is a plus.
• Strong facilitator and communicator; ability to run workshops and distill requirements.
• Willingness to travel ~20% and start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Drive Customer Discovery by mapping outage management workflows and software expectations with TSOs/DSOs.
• Lead facilitation and design workshops to test concepts and gather feedback.
• Articulate value propositions to diverse utility stakeholders and translate tech capabilities into business impact.
• Bridge business and engineering by turning domain requirements into actionable specs.
• Identify common needs to build scalable, repeatable product architecture.
• Support commercial validation with ROI models and market insights.
• Create rapid prototypes or proofs-of-concept to test ideas with customers.
