E.ON Power Plants Belgium BVBA in Mechelen is seeking a Technical Project Manager Energy Generation (f/m/d) to lead on-site energy projects from planning through start-up. You will coordinate interfaces between clients, contractors, and internal teams in a DBOO framework.

The role requires a Master's degree in a technical field, senior PM experience, and PM certification. Dutch and English fluency are essential, with willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline.
• Senior-level experience in technical project management in energy or industrial infra.
• PM certification (PMP, IPMA, or PRINCE2) is advantageous.
• Fluent Dutch (C2) and English (C1); travel readiness.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage the successful delivery of large-scale on-site energy generation projects, including planning, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up.
• Act as the primary technical project interface between clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders in DBOO (Design, Build, Own & Operate) projects
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and manage interfaces with project development, commercial, procurement, and legal functions
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and change control processes
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, regulations, environmental requirements, and HSE policies
• Review and approve technical specifications, engineering deliverables, and contractor documentation through to handover to the team Operations & Maintenance
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions where necessary
• Lead project meetings, progress reviews, and stakeholder communications
