Job summary

Septentrio Leuven seeks an Embedded Software Ecosystems Integrator intern to build proofs‑of‑concept and prototype integrations that connect GNSS receivers with third‑party APIs. You will port and adapt software for embedded platforms and contribute to open‑source projects.

You will work with C, C++, Python on MCUs (Raspberry Pi, Arduino, NVIDIA boards) and test/benchmark integrations, documenting results for release. 3–4 months, with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Pursuing IT Software Engineering or related field.
• Experience with C/C++, Python; Linux/Windows programming.
• Familiar with MQTT, REST APIs and JSON; working with MCUs.

Responsibilities

• Develop glue code to ease integration of third-party software services with Septentrio products.
• Create proofs-of-concept and prototypes.
• Benchmark GNSS ecosystems and document results for open-source releases.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to pursue best integration approaches.
