Exail is seeking an engineering intern to help improve and extend the sonar simulator used in our unmanned vehicles. You will work in C++ on core simulation features and collaborate with senior software engineers to implement robust changes.

You will also extend the test framework using Python, refactor existing code for readability, and help ensure reliable software. This on-site internship takes place in Mouscron, Belgium, with a minimum duration of two months.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a relevant engineering degree (e.g., IT or software).
• Basic knowledge of C/C++ and Python required.
• Willing to work on-site in Mouscron, Belgium.
• Able to read technical documentation and propose improvements.

Responsabilités

• Extend the sonar antenna simulator in C++.
• Extend the Test framework to use the simulator via Python.
• Refactor existing code for readability and maintainability.
• Develop and execute tests to verify changes.
• Document architectural decisions and changes.
