Job summary

Septentrio is seeking an Embedded Software Ecosystems Integrator intern to join our Leuven offices. You will develop glue code to integrate third-party software with Septentrio GNSS receivers, prototype and test ecosystems, and contribute to open-source releases.

You will work with MCUs and embedded computers (Raspberry Pi, Arduino, NVIDIA, NXP Nucleo) using C/C++/Python, exploring high-accuracy positioning and 3rd party APIs. Duration is 3-4 months, with potential extension, starting in 2025.

Qualifications

• Programming in C, C++ or Python and some Linux/Windows experience.
• Familiar with MQTT or REST APIs and various MCUs (Raspberry Pi, Arduino, NVIDIA, NXP Nucleo).
• Ability to port/integrate third-party software with GNSS receivers.

Responsibilities

• Develop glue code to ease third-party software integration with Septentrio products.
• Create proofs of concept combining GNSS with external software APIs.
• Benchmark GNSS systems using different data corrections and open-source components.
• Document and release add-on software to enable integration with GNSS receivers.
• Collaborate with market ecosystems and application engineering teams to gain experience in high-accuracy positioning.
