INFRATECH SA in Thimister-Clermont, Belgium, seeks an expert embedded software developer to design and implement software for embedded systems, in a Linux environment with microcontroller development and PC side support.

You will analyze requirements, define schedules with project management, and ensure quality through testing and documentation while collaborating across teams and with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• Strong knowledge or experience in C/C++
• Knowledge or experience in Linux development (kernel modification, yocto, shell)
• Knowledge or experience in embedded development
• Asset: Lua, TCL-TK, SQL; familiarity with Modbus, IEC60870 & IEC61850 (Cybersecurity)
• High-quality results through analysis and planning; target driven and result oriented
• Focused on quality, detail-minded and customer oriented
• Open to change and continuous learning; able to work autonomously; manage multiple projects

Responsabilités

• Analyse and review product requirements, discuss technical feasibility and proposals
• Develop new software components or modify existing ones and integrate them
• Participate in peer code reviews
• Plan, define and perform unit testing
• Create or maintain technical documentation
• Solve defects in the defect tracking system
• Maintain existing applications
• Contact the client for support and planning
