TMC is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer in Gent, Belgium to develop and maintain Linux-based embedded systems.

You will translate requirements, collaborate with hardware and software teams, and design robust embedded software solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in CS/Electronics-ICT, has 3+ years of experience, and is fluent in English and Dutch, with Buildroot/Yocto knowledge.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics-ICT or similar.
• At least 3 years of professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of C, C++ and Linux environments.
• Knowledge of Buildroot and/or Yocto.
• Excellent communication in English and Dutch.
• Interest in electronics (PCB's) or Firmware (FPGA's) is a plus.
• Willingness to update knowledge with new technologies.

Responsabilités

• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to define requirements.
• Design and review embedded software solutions.
• Provide input and support for quality testing.
