TMC is a global high-tech consultancy offering engineering expertise across leading clients. We seek an Embedded Software Engineer to develop and maintain the Linux OS for embedded systems, translating requirements into robust specifications and collaborating with hardware and software teams.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Computer Science or Electronics-ICT, with 3+ years of experience and strong C/C++.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics-ICT or similar.
• At least 3 years of experience.
• Good knowledge of C, C++ and Linux environments.
• Knowledge of Buildroot and/or Yocto.
• Excellent communication skills in English & Dutch.
• Interest in electronics (PCB's) or Firmware (FPGA's) is a plus.
• Willingness to update knowledge regularly.

Responsabilités

• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to define and refine requirements.
• Design and review embedded software solutions.
• Provide input and support for quality testing.
