Job summary

VeroTech is seeking a Development Engineer Electrochemical to advance electrochemical systems through hands-on experimental research and analysis. You will explore novel catalyst and device structures with emphasis on performance, stability, and charge transport, in a multidisciplinary setting with collaboration across materials science and chemistry teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of electrochemistry, electrostatics or thermochemical conversion.
• At least a first relevant experience through a Master’s internship or thesis is mandatory.
• First relevant laboratory experience is mandatory.
• Pragmatic mindset with strong communication skills and the ability to make complex topics understandable.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute electrochemical and physicochemical experiments on novel catalyst and device structures.
• Analyze test results related to performance, stability, charge transport and reaction behaviour.
• Develop testing methodologies for advanced electrochemical systems.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment for impedance spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry and related measurement techniques.
• Document experimental findings and prepare technical input for reports, deliverables, publications and project partner discussions.
