As a Development Engineer Electrochemical, you contribute to the development of advanced electrochemical systems through experimental research, testing and analysis. You work on novel catalyst and device structures, focusing on performance, stability, charge transport and reaction behaviour.
Within a multidisciplinary research environment, you collaborate with experts in materials science, chemistry, device engineering and catalysis. Your findings support technology development and feed into technical reports, project deliverables, publications and interactions with project partners.
Design and execute electrochemical and physicochemical experiments on novel catalyst and device structures
Analyze test results related to performance, stability, charge transport and reaction behaviour
Develop testing methodologies for advanced electrochemical systems
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment for impedance spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry and related measurement techniques
Document experimental findings and prepare technical input for reports, deliverables, publications and project partner discussions
We are looking for a hands-on technical profile with a solid scientific foundation and the ability to translate complex experimental insights into clear conclusions.
Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering or a similar technical or scientific field
Good understanding of electrochemistry, electrostatics or thermochemical conversion
At least a first relevant experience through a Master’s internship or thesis is mandatory
First relevant laboratory experience is mandatory
Pragmatic mindset with strong communication skills and the ability to make complex topics understandable
Fluency in English is mandatory.
