Elia Group in Belgium seeks a High‑Voltage/Low‑Voltage Technician to join the regional Brussels team. You will contribute to maintaining the grid and transformer fleet, performing electrical measurements and commissioning tests with safety as a priority.

The role covers HV, LV, cable and line work, including climbs to pylon tops when required. A technical education in electricity or electromechanics and the ability to read wiring diagrams are essential.

Qualifications

• Technical secondary education certificate or Bachelor’s degree in electricity, mechanics or electromechanics.
• Good knowledge of electricity and ability to read wiring diagrams.
• Team player and ready for a challenge.
• Proactive and shows initiative.

Responsabilités

• Perform electrical measurements and test equipment prior to commissioning.
• Maintain grid and transformer fleet with safety as priority.
• Work at heights; may climb to top of a 150‑kV pylon.
