The Belgian and European energy landscape is in full swing, and Elia Belgium ensures the reliability and sustainability of the electricity supply in our country. High‑Voltage Technician: You will play a crucial role in the maintenance of our grid and transformer fleet. You will perform electrical measurements and test new equipment prior to commissioning. Safety will always be your top priority. Our high‑voltage technicians are creative, can read wiring diagrams, and have a good overview of complex systems.
Low‑Voltage Technician: You will work with a wide range of technologies, from conventional wiring to communication via bus systems. You will modify wiring diagrams and ensure that protection system settings are correct. Our digitalised environment will give you the opportunity to continually learn and develop your skills further.
Cable and Line Technician: Doing work at heights, your duties will involve underground and overhead cables and lines and you will be responsible for checks, interventions and repairs. You will also contribute to the safety of local residents and contractors working on our high‑voltage lines. It’s a challenging and varied role, which could also require you to climb to the top of a 150‑kV pylon.
These are just a few of the benefits that distinguish Elia as a Top Employer. We are convinced that your contribution to our team will be invaluable and look forward to welcoming you soon.
