Boels Rental is seeking an Electrical Technician at our Ghent Wondelgem branch. You will maintain, repair and test rental equipment, ensuring complete operation and returning items to stock with an OK label.

Role involves travel to different branches, handling parts orders, and assisting drivers with loading/unloading and minor vehicle repairs. A hands-on, service-oriented attitude and a valid BSO in a technical field are required.

Competenze

• At least a BSO qualification in a technical field.
• At least 1 year's experience in a similar role.
• Category B driving licence.

• Machines returned by customers are first given a quick check by colleagues, then the real work begins for you.
• You check the machines from top to bottom, look for faults and ensure everything is working 100% again.
• You'll clean the machine, test its operation, apply an 'OK' label and return it to stock for hire.
• You'll carry out repairs and maintenance yourself to ensure everything is in tip-top condition.
• You'll place orders and keep track of the spare parts stock.
• You'll also help the drivers with loading and unloading and carry out minor repairs to the building and company vehicles.

At our branch in Ghent Wondelgem, no two days are the same.

As an Electrical Technician at this branch, you'll be responsible for our equipment in terms of maintenance, repairs and breakdowns.

What does that involve?

• Machines returned by customers are first given a quick check by your colleagues. Then the real work begins for you.
• You check the machines from top to bottom, look for any faults and ensure everything is working 100% again.
• You'll clean the machine, test its operation, apply an 'OK' label and return it to the stock for hire.
• You'll carry out repairs and maintenance yourself to ensure everything is in tip-top condition.
• You'll place orders and keep track of the spare parts stock.
• You'll also help the drivers with loading and unloading and carry out minor repairs to the building and company vehicles.
