Boels Rental in Ghent Wondelgem seeks an Electrical Technician to maintain, repair and diagnose rental equipment across multiple branches in the region. You will be responsible for ensuring machines are in top condition and back in stock quickly.

The role requires a hands-on professional with a customer-focused mindset, capable of traveling to fault sites and performing repairs on-site. A valid B driving license and Belgian work permit are required.

Responsabilités

• Maintain, repair and troubleshoot rental equipment to ensure 100% operability.
• Perform quick checks on returned machines and complete thorough diagnostics.
• Clean equipment, test operation and label as OK before returning to stock.
• Carry out repairs and maintenance, order parts and track stock levels.
• Assist drivers with loading/unloading and perform minor repairs to vehicles and buildings.
• Work across three Boels branches to service a variety of machines.

At our branch in Ghent Wondelgem, no two days are the same.

As an Electrical Technician at this branch, you’ll be responsible for our equipment in terms of maintenance, repairs and breakdowns.

What does that involve?

• Machines returned by customers are first given a quick check by your colleagues. Then the real work begins for you.
• You check the machines from top to bottom, look for any faults and ensure everything is working 100% again.
• You’ll clean the machine, test its operation, apply an ‘OK’ label and return it to the stock for hire.
• You’ll carry out repairs and maintenance yourself to ensure everything is in tip-top condition.
• You’ll place orders and keep track of the spare parts stock.
• You’ll also help the drivers with loading and unloading and carry out minor repairs to the building and company vehicles.

What makes this role unique is that you’ll be working across three different branches, allowing you to work on all sorts of different machines.
