Job summary

Van Damme nv is seeking a service technician in Waregem to maintain and repair our cleaning machines in a modern workshop equipped with the latest equipment. You will also work on projects involving installing new machines.

Key tasks include replacing parts, preventive maintenance, and assisting customers with technical questions, while detecting and solving electrical and mechanical malfunctions. A hands-on, precise, independent approach is valued, with Dutch and French being assets.

Qualifications

• Technical background in electromechanics, electricity or mechanics.
• Experience as a technician is a plus; enthusiastic school leavers are eligible.
• Hands-on technical skills, accuracy, and independence.
• Dutch and French fluency is an asset.

Your new role

What do you need to be successful?

For this position, it is important that you have technical insight and are sociable. Someone with a background in this field has an advantage.

• You have preferably completed technical training in electromechanics, electricity, or mechanics.
• Experience as a technician is a plus, but enthusiastic school leavers are also eligible.
• Technical hands-on skills, accuracy, and independence are the qualities that best describe you.
• If you speak Dutch and French fluently, this is an asset!
