Job summary

CTRL Engineering seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to develop electrical systems for high-tech machines. You’ll craft schematics, wiring diagrams, and component layouts, ensuring safety and compliance, while coordinating with mechanics, software and automation teams.

The role blends design with hands-on testing and cabinet wiring on real machines. You hold a Master’s in electrical engineering or electromechanics, are proficient in EPLAN, and work with NEC, IEC and IEEE standards.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in electrical engineering or electromechanics.
Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design such as EPLAN.
Experience with standards and codes (NEC, IEC, IEEE).
Familiarity with electrical components (cables, switches, relays, breakers).
Skills to integrate control panels, PLCs and instrumentation equipment.

Responsibilities

Develop electrical systems from scratch or modify existing installations.
Collaborate with mechanics, software and automation teams.
Design electrical systems that meet safety standards and assist risk analyses.
Follow design through build, wiring cabinets and machines and adjust as needed.
Produce detailed schematics, wiring diagrams and layout drawings and select components accordingly.
