MERTENS ELECTRIFICATION- AND CONTROL SYSTEMS is seeking a hands-on System Engineer with a strong Electrical & Automation focus to design, integrate, test, and optimize the systems powering off-highway vehicles and robotic platforms.

You'll connect electrical, automation, software, hydraulics and mechanical systems to form a cohesive, reliable machine architecture and will turn designs into functioning systems in demanding industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on System Engineer with a focus on Electrical & Automation Engineering.
• Experience designing and integrating electrical architectures for complex machines.
• Knowledge of PLCs, embedded systems and control software.

Responsabilités

• Concept & Solution Engineering with customers to create technical solutions and system architectures.
• Electrical Engineering: design/integrate electrical architectures, wiring, sensors, actuators and comms.
• Software, Automation & Controls: program machine functions using PLCs/ECUs/embedded systems.
• System Engineering: connect electrical, software, hydraulic, and mechanical subsystems into one machine.
• Testing & Commissioning: build, integrate, test, debug, and fine‑tune prototypes and machines.
• Customer Support, Training & Continuous Improvement: assist customers and improve performance.
