Job summary

Atlas Copco Group in Wilrijk, Belgium, is seeking a Design Engineer Electrical - Energy Conversion to translate customer needs into tailored compressor and accessory solutions. You'll design and modify electrical drawings, evaluate alternatives, and ensure safety and quality through risk analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Control, Electric Design.
• Knowledge of EPLAN.
• Knowledge of English, both oral and written.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, processes, and systems.
• Work independently and be able to take the initiative to learn.
• Strong affinity for technology and commitment to continuously improve our designs through technological innovation.
• You are a positive-thinking, open-minded teamplayer with a strong interest in working in an international company.

Responsibilities

• Design and modify technical drawings and bill of materials; write procedures and ensure safety and quality via risk analyses.
• Support technicians during production and resolve technical issues; validate peers to ensure consistency.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams, and coordinate with the purchasing manager for best technical outcomes.
• Translate specifications into machine requirements and select appropriate electrical components for quotations.
• Contribute to compressor designs, promote standardization, and ensure centralized data sharing within the Global Engineering team.
